To provide a voice to the suffering drug addicts in the nation who are very much stigmatized in the nation, specially in the isolated islands. To provide the public, information about harm reduction & the disease of drug addiction as to reduce the stigma of the public towards the issue…. to make the general public change their perception and start providing help and support to addicts to recover and become productive citizens of the nation.

What kinds of news, stories and other content will be created?
A face group will be crated with the name “Diary of a drug user”. In which personal stories will be published + other information would be provided on , how to recover , how to get rehabilitated , available opportunities & information to public on the importance of helping & care. The importance of a holistic healthy society for the development of the nation. Importance of harm reduction approaches & other alternative options available.
What technologies and digital tools do you plan to use in the trainings?

Currently the organizations operates a drop -in-center for the drug users , provided them with free of cost services , and free testing for HIV. We have been working with the drug users community for the past 7 years. We plan to provide them with a cyber cafe’ so that they could share their feeling with the general community. reduce the stigma. We provide treatment options to them from different sources available for the nation and abroad.
