Aids Rights Congo: Using ICT To Combat Violence Against Women
During March 31 - April 03, 2010 AZUR Development concluded a training workshop as a part of the FTX (Feminist Tech Exchange) program supported by the Association for Progressive Communications (APC PARF). A number of girls and women from Brazzaville, Pointe Noire and Kinkala have participated in the training on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to combat violence against women and girls.

EWAMT: The Start Of The 2nd Phase In Taizz City
The second phase of the ‘Empowerment of Women Activists in Media Techniques (EWAMT)‘ project started in Taizz city, a major city in Yemen located at the Southwestern highlands at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. In Partnership with the National Culture Center for Youth, EWAMT trained 15 female activists during 31 March- April 1st 2010 in Taizz City.

Voces Bolivianas: Ushahidi Platform For Election Reporting
During the Bolivian general elections on December 6, 2009 a number of Bolivian netizens used Web 2.0 tools such as blogs, Flickr, Youtube, Twitter and Facebook to share their perspectives of the election. This year on April 4th Bolivians are voting again to elect governors and mayors of different departments and municipalities and Bolivian citizen journalists are using the Ushahidi platform to report on the election using multiple tools like sms, email, twitter, web etc.
