Facebook in Your Indigenous or Endangered Language
Facebook has stated that it wants to be "available in every language across the world." However, it is no longer accepting new languages as part of its translation project. Continuing the work of late language activist Neskie Manuel, Indigenous Tweets has developed an overlay script allowing for the use of Facebook in many more indigenous or endangered languages.

The Indigenous Tweets project recently interviewed Jean Came Poulard, an active Haitian Twitterer and software developer working with Logipam, helping to develop and promote open source software and resources for Haitian Creole on the web.

Languages: Tweeting in Chichewa in Southern Africa
The Indigenous Tweets project recently interviewed Edmond Kachale, a software developer based in Malawi, who has been active in promoting the use of the Southern African language Chichewa through digital tools. Edmond is also an active Twitterer and provides updates using this Bantu language.
