One thing you’ll notice immediately if you visit the outlying community of La Loma in Medellín, Colombia is that nearly the entire community has the same three or four last names. One of the most common is “Paniagua” - the mythical origin of which is explained in the above video by blogger and talented musician Dneiber Sady.

Voces Bolivianas promotes the use of new media tools to allow Bolivians from underrepresented groups to share stories about their lives and communities. 
Iran Inside Out
Veteran Iranian videobloggers have partnered with the local film clubs in Iran to identify aspiring young filmmakers and teach them how to distribute their works online. Rising Voices is a Global Voices project supported by the Knight Foundation and OSI.

Me dirijo respetuosamente a ustedes ya que soy decendiente de uno de los integrantes de la banda, ya fallecido, el señor BRIGIDO ANTONIO PANIAGUA PABON, leyendo la historia publicada, encontramos varios datos que no coinciden con la verdadera historia de la banda, segun datos del periodico el colombiano esta fue fundada en 1822 por el señor Nicolas paniagua, quien fue su primer director al cual sucedio su hijo el señor Jose Maria Paniagua, luego Alberto brigido al morir este quedo su hijo Pedro pablo nieto del fundador, a este lo sucedio el señor Miguel Paniagua. El apellido PANIAGUA es de decendencia Española y no tiene nada que ver con lo publicado sobre la comida. Muchas gracias por la atencion prestada y me siento orgullosa de saber que mis antepasados estan siendo tenidos en cuenta en su pagina en algo tan especial.
